The story
A family shop, on purpose.
Wilkerson's started more than twenty years ago the way most family shops start — one truck at a time, on the strength of doing the work right and standing behind it.
Twenty years later, we're on US-49 in Jackson with a full diesel service shop, big-truck parts counter, and a tire bay under one roof. Same family. Same warranty. Same direct line to the general manager.
We're not the cheapest diesel shop in town. We're the one you call second, after the cheap guy didn't fix it. And then we put our name on the invoice and stand behind it.
What “Wilkerson” means
Our name on the sign means a real handshake.
You're not a work order number to us. When you call, a person who knows your truck — and knows your name — picks up. We genuinely care that you get back on the road right, and we treat your business like it's ours, because the family on the sign is the family doing the work.
Think of us as the dealership alternative. You get dealership-level service and diagnostics — without the big-shop, take-a-ticket-and-wait runaround. No service-writer wall between you and the tech, no waiting weeks for a slot. Just faster turnaround and a straight, honest relationship with the people who run the shop.
A diagnosis is a promise. When we tell you what's wrong with your truck, we're right. We work where we live.
We service the owner-operators, fleets, and contractors who keep central Mississippi moving — agriculture haulers out of the Delta, construction fleets up and down US-49, regional carriers running I-20 and I-55. Jackson is home. We're here every week, year after year.
Stop in any weekday between 7am–5pm, or Saturday morning. The coffee's usually on.
